In addition to my clinical practice, I am also an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor in the Graduate Counseling Program at St. Mary's College of California. I also supervise psychotherapy trainees and Associates in various clinical and educational settings.
I have an eclectic approach – that is, I pull from several schools of therapeutic thought including theories that attend to my clients’ thoughts, emotions and behavior.
One area of expertise is my work with members of the adoption triad. I have worked with adoptive parents and families, birth families and adopted persons for close to 25 years. I am a popular workshop and conference speaker and have provided trainings to adoption agencies, attorneys and organizations.
